Mid Atlantic Boiler, Inc. is a member of the Wilmington Area Safety Counsel.
Mid Atlantic Boiler, Inc. Safety Program is an OSHA approved safety program published by the J. J. Keller Corporation. If changes are made in OSHA regulations, changes are made in our program.
Prior to an employee being put to work, they must attend a 6 hour safety orientation. This orientation includes the following:
1. Personal Protective Equipment
2. Hazardous Communications
3. Lock Out/Tag Out
4. Working From Scaffolding
5. Confined Space
6. Fall Protection
7. Proper Use Of Tools
8. Welding Safety
All employees are required to attend this safety training at least once a year. In addition to the above mentioned safety program, each employee is given a hearing and breathing test yearly. Drug testing is required before hiring, and random drug tests are also performed. Weekly Tool Box Safety Talks are given by the job site supervisor.
All repair work is performed in accordance with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Code (R Stamp). Our knowledge in these areas assure that all work is performed within these guidelines. Our R Stamp authorization number is 4252.
